Local SEO services that bring calls from people nearby, not reports you can't read
Even if you've paid for SEO before and got nothing for it. We work on the three things that decide who shows up on Google Maps near you (your Google Business Profile, your reviews and your service pages) and we report in calls, bookings and enquiries.
Local Visibility from £299 a month. Fixed fee, month to month, Google Business Profile setup included.
A one-page report from public data: where you rank on Google Maps from points around your shop (not just from your own front door), what your Google profile is missing, and where its Website button sends people. Free.
"I thought I was already paying him for this thing called SEO"
Local SEO is where small business owners most often feel they paid for something they couldn't see. In their own words:
"...suggesting I increased my monthly payment to him from £120 to £180 - I thought I was acually [sic] already paying him for this thing called SEO!"
UK business owner, Trustpilot review
"These reports don't look like they have made any inroads into the actual positioning of your website in terms of your key phrases. Very underwhelming read to be honest."
An SEO reviewing a UK client's reports after a year, Trustpilot
"We paid thousands of dollars ... but we did not receive any measurable results or even a single new phone call from the campaign."
US business owner, Ripoff Report
Reports full of keyword charts. Fees that creep up. No phone calls. Good local SEO should be judged on the phone ringing, so that's what we put in the report.
3 steps: check, fix the foundations, then grow
Check
Your free Leak Check shows where you appear on Google Maps from a grid of points around your business, what's missing from your Google profile, and whether AI assistants mention your business. You stop guessing why the shop down the road shows up first.
Fix the foundations (month 1)
Google profile set up (or completed and corrected; setup is included in Local Visibility), your business details made consistent across the main directories, a review request system set up, your most important service page improved. You no longer depend on whoever last edited your listing.
Grow (month 2 onward)
Weekly Google posts and photos, replies to every review, more service pages on Local Visibility Plus, and a monthly check of what AI assistants say about you. You don't have to remember any of it.
No bought links, no faked reviews, no year-long contract
Some local SEO packages lean on things that are quick to sell and risky to own: bought backlinks, review "generation", 12-month contracts. We don't do the first two at all, and our plans run month to month.
Your Google profile, complete and correct, without you logging in every week
- Categories, services and hours. We check your categories against the businesses that show up around you, and fill in every service and opening hour, including public holidays.
- Photos and posts. 4 new photos and 4 posts a month, so the profile shows a business that's open and active.
- The Website button. Pointed at the right page, with tracking so we can count the clicks.
- Suggested edits watched. Anyone can suggest changes to your listing. We check for unwanted edits.

Reviews, asked for properly: no gating, no fakes, no gifts for five stars
- One way of asking every customer. A short link, a QR code for the counter and a message template for after the visit. Everyone gets asked, not only the happy ones.
- A reply to every review within 2 business days, written in your voice, approved by you at first.
- Within the law in all three countries. Australia's ACCC says paying an SEO firm "to deliver reviews by persons who are purporting to be ... genuine consumers is misleading". The US FTC rule on consumer reviews (16 CFR Part 465) has applied since 21 October 2024. The UK's DMCC Act 2024 bans fake reviews and bans supplying them as a service. These rules protect you as much as your customers.
Why reviews get so much attention: in one study of 10,000 local businesses, those recommended by both ChatGPT and Perplexity averaged 133.4 Google reviews, against 10.7 for those recommended by neither. That study was published by a company that sells measurement services, and it shows a link, not cause and effect. We treat it as a reason to take reviews seriously, not as proof.
Service pages that answer the question, not a blog nobody reads
- One page per main service. What it is, the price or price range, how long it takes, the areas you cover, and how to book.
- Local facts, not filler. Parking, landmarks, opening hours, the suburbs or towns you actually serve. No fake city pages for places you don't operate.
- Local Visibility Plus adds 2 new service pages a month.
Consistent details everywhere, so Google trusts what it reads
- Name, address and phone the same everywhere. We correct your details on 10 main directories in month 1, then monitor them.
- No addresses we can't back up. Service-area businesses list the areas they serve, not a fake shopfront.
An AI search check every month, included and not upsold
- A fixed set of 20 questions your customers might ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI, run the same way every month.
- Named, cited, or missing. We record whether you're named, whether your site is linked, and which competitors appear.
- Honest about the noise. AI answers change from one run to the next, so we look at trends, not single answers. More: AI search optimisation.

Is there a catch?
Yes. Local SEO needs a few things only you can provide:
- ownership of your Google Business Profile (if you don't have it, Google's verification steps need you, not us),
- a few new photos a month from the shop or the job (phone photos are fine),
- customers to ask for reviews: we set up the system, your team has to use it.
What it can't do: promise a position. Rankings on Maps depend on distance from the searcher, which no one controls, and on what competitors do.
We don't publish posts or reply to reviews in your name without your approval for the first month.
What you own: the profile, the pages and the reviews
- Your Google Business Profile. You stay the Primary Owner. We're added as a Manager. We never ask for your Google password.
- Every page we write. It's on your website and stays there if you leave.
- Your reviews. They belong to your profile, not to a review platform we control.
- Directory listings. Created or claimed under your business email.
- Reports and tracking. GA4 and Search Console in your Google account.
Leaving: 30 days' notice. We remove our access and send you a list of everything we set up.
How we report: calls, bookings and enquiries, plus where you show up
- Calls. From your Google profile (Google's Performance report) and taps on your number on the website (GA4). A tap is not an answered call.
- Bookings. Clicks on Book buttons, per service. GA4 counts the click through to your booking platform, not the completed booking; for completed bookings we use your booking platform's report, if you share it.
- Enquiries. Form submissions and direction requests.
- Where you show up. Your Maps position from the same grid each month, and the AI search check.
- What we did. Posts, photos, replies, pages, fixes.
One page, plain English, every month. If a number went down, we say so and say why we think it did.
Who does the work
Hai Pham, founder, is your contact and is accountable for your plan. ATAVORA is a small team in Vietnam led by Hai Pham. We work during Australian business hours; for UK and US clients most work happens while you sleep, and calls are booked in your morning. Replies and posts go out in your business hours. Questions about local SEO services
What's the difference between local SEO and normal SEO?
Local SEO is about showing up when someone nearby searches for what you do, mostly in the Google Maps results. It leans on your Google Business Profile, reviews and local details. Normal SEO is about ranking a website nationally or for information searches.
How long does local SEO take?
Honest answer: we can't give you a date. Fixing a broken Website button or wrong opening hours helps the customers who already find you straight away; building reviews and pages takes months. You'll see the trend in the monthly report, and you can stop any month if it isn't worth it.
Can you guarantee first place on Google Maps?
No. The person searching two streets away sees a different list from the person searching across town, so there is no single "first place" to guarantee.
How much do local SEO services cost?
Published entry prices we found: in Australia, around AUD 499 to 1,200 a month for SEO and AUD 99 to 400 for Google profile management; in the UK, local SEO and Google profile packages from £99, with £299 in the middle and up to £400; in the US, SEO from about USD 299 a month. Local Visibility is £299 a month.
Why not hire someone in-house?
You can. For comparison: the median salary for a digital marketing specialist in Australia is AUD 100,000 plus 12% super; a UK marketing executive is around £40,417; a US marketing specialist's median pay is USD 78,760. That's not a fair comparison on its own: an employee does many jobs, a plan covers one. If you need one job done well, a plan is cheaper.
Do you do SEO for areas where I don't have an office?
Only where you genuinely serve customers. We don't build pages pretending you're based in a city you aren't. That would mislead customers.
What happens after the Leak Check?
You get the report. If you want to go further, we can suggest a plan, or you can book a paid Marketing Diagnosis if your situation needs a closer look. No pressure either way.
If you're in the UK or the US, what do I pay?
UK prices are in pounds (Local Visibility £299 a month), US in dollars (US$390), set for each market. The review rules differ: in the UK, the DMCC Act 2024 bans fake and hidden-incentive reviews and bans supplying them as a service; in the US, the FTC rule bans fake reviews and buying reviews conditioned on their sentiment, with civil penalties for knowing violations. Our review system is built to fit both. Prices exclude GST/VAT. ATAVORA invoices from Vietnam. Business customers in Australia and the UK are not charged GST/VAT by us; your accountant can tell you if you need to account for it. US clients: we provide a W-8BEN-E.
